Heart and limbs and blood all work together: your mind ticks away. Skin shakes. Suddenly very aware of every thing and the electricity which vibrates under your hide, which jumps from tendons and bones and curves through You. It is magic. There are others like You. And here, You roam the land

Lead stallion: Dark Cloud
Lead mare:
Land name: Uncultivated Bay
Land description: Uncultivated Bay is a large beach swimming with life. Various animals swim in the tranquil sea and occasionally animals wash onto the shore. To the south is the beach itself, and to the north is high rocks reaching various heights. To the northwest, a small cave is nestled in the rocks, providing protection in the winter and shade. The downside to this is the cave isn't vary large, maybe it will fit five horses max. The sunlight doesn't reach far, so its risky to travel too far into the cave. To the east, a small stream runs into the ocean, which provides fresh water for the horses to drink. Grass also grows near the stream, but in the winter it all dies out and food becomes very scarce.

Dark Cloud

Has claimed the bay his

From the beginning, Dark Cloud never really had a home. The longest time he ever spent in a herd was the one he was born in, which was usual for most horses he assumed. You see, his mother, Ebony, was a small, pretty black mare who lived in a small herd. The lead stallion, Zorro, was a tall, slender paint stallion like himself. Zorro and Ebony never were together, but for the first year of his life, they were both there for him.

The story starts a few years back, when the herd was first being created. Zorro brought his mare, Breeze, to the lands which he was born apon, and claimed them as his own. As the months wore by, more horses began to join. His mother came in on a warm summer morning, and she was greated with a kind welcome. As the days wore on, Zorro and Breeze tried to conceive a foal, but she just wouldn't take. As Zorro grew a bit older, he figured he needed a foal to carry out his position, even if it wasn't with Breeze. His mother, Ebony, was there, and he figured their foal would be beautiful, for they both were quite gorgeous horses. Twelve months later, he was born. He was, like his father, a tall black and white paint. They decided to name him Dark Cloud, since he was black like the night and white like the clouds.

Months passes, and Cloud was taught many things. From his mother, he was raised to always treat mares with respect, and to stand up for himself in the bad times. As for his father, he was taught fighting skills and how to survive on his own. It was nice for the first year of his life, but then it all changed. Breeze finally birthed a healthy colt, and they both wanted that position as King. As the age of two, it was decided his half brother would carry on in the throne, since he was pure in royal blood. After the decision, Cloud and his half brother got into a nasty fight, leaving them both with scars. Cloud's left ear took a hard blow, closing out all sound from the outside world, he was deaf in one ear. This didn't disable him much, his right ear worked fine, but at times, he was spooked by a noise his right ear couldn't pick up. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore, he wasn't welcome, and it didn't feel like home anymore. With a soft goodbye to his mom, he left, unable to be ruled by a foolish colt like his brother.

As he grew older, his fine muscles came in and his figure grew taller. At the end of his aging, he came out to be around sixteen hands, no less. And with his new height, he also became very attractive. His aquamarine eyes matched the sea, which is where he learned was his favorite place to be. The calm clash of the waves and the sea breeze always felt like home.

As the years came by, Cloud saw his share of sights, miraculous some of them were. But at the age of six, his prime, he figured he should settle down, maybe, if he found the right mare, even start a family. So as of now, he traveled the many plains, meadows, deserts, and forests for the place to call home.

Ivory hooves dug into the earth's ground softly as the six year old stallion moved along the terrain, his ebon tail swaying with the slight breeze the wind carried. Before long, the soft melody of the chiming ocean rang in his ear, the salty ocean smell flowing through his nostrils. As he edged closer, the beautiful land was revealed, the sea green ocean dead ahead. Instead of dirt, his hooves pelted in the soft sand. Breathing in the cool morning air, it felt like he was home again.

The waves crashed lightly against the damp shore, the tiny shells and rocks left behind from the lapping water. To his south, the beach was located, and to his north, he spotted the towering rocks, in which a small cave was carved to the northwest. Investigating further in the natural crevasse, he stepped inside the damp darkness. This was when he found a few horses could fit easily, but more than about five and it would be over crowded. Towards the back, the pitch darkness prevented the sight to see what rested ahead.

As he left the cave, Cloud's aquamarine eyes saw a small stream, in which the fresh water pored into the salty sea. Grass grew freely around it, but there were no trees, besides the forest. An idea churned inside his cranium, and he soon decided this land was unclaimed, and perfect for him. Rearing up on his hind limbs, his long brassy call erupted from his ebon muzzle, letting equines close and far know this land now belonged to him.
